Understanding the basic water requirements for lawns, flowerbeds or agricultural crops is also a must for an irrigation systems designer.

The irrigation systems designer will provide both cost analysis information as well as product information to the consumer. He or she will very often oversee the installation of the irrigation system as well as troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that may arise during the installation or use of the system.
