Copywriter/Project Manager
A copywriter or project manager for an advertising company works to promote their services and to provide high quality advertising services at a competitive rate. Since the job is largely based on knowledge of the market experience in a particular type of business or in a specific part of the economy is import to establish a customer base. Making suggestions to clients as to possible advertising practices and campaigns is important as is the ability to network with many people and be very up-to-date on current trends in marketing and advertising.
A copywriter or project manager usually starts a project by working with the client to find out exactly what the target market is and what the client is wanting to feature in the advertisement or campaign. The copywriter or project manager the designs a series of possible options for the client to consider. Modifications or revisions and then completed and the copywriter prints or develops a prototype of the advertisement be in a brochure, newsletter, advertisement, campaign or other project. Once the buyer approves the project the project manager then coordinates the completion of the project within the deadlines or timelines established by the client.
A copywriter or project manager must be both creative and have a good understanding of marketing, advertising and businesses. He or she will also have to be very aware of the various computer graphics and publication programs as well as have a good network of professionals that can assist with aspects of the project from supplying materials to mass printing and distribution of advertising material. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are important for a copywriter or project manager.

- Marketing and advertising services to new and existing clients to develop new markets and advertising potential.
- Meeting with clients to discuss, evaluate and suggest advertising options.
- Developing prototype or samples of materials based on clients needs for advertising.
- Copying, printing, proofing and distributing advertising materials as required by the client.
- Invoicing and collecting income from services rendered for development of advertising and campaigns.
- Resolving complaints, troubleshooting production, or working with team members to ensure deadlines are met for production of the advertising.
