Skin Care Products Distributor
A skin care products distributor sells and delivers skin care products to stores, catalogs, boutiques and physicians. Some companies distribute skin care products they manufacture themselves, while others distribute skin care products for other manufacturers or companies. A skin care distributor is sometimes an individual that sells skin care products from his or her home. They could also be distributors, working for large companies and a sales staff and catalogs to look through.
Distributors are the backbone of the business world. They work with stores, physicians, boutiques and other retailers to get them skin care products from the manufacturer to sell in a professional and supportive manner. A skin care products distributor's primary goal is to move skin care products between the manufacturers of the products and the retailers. They normally look after the logistics or handling that involves supplying the necessary labor and shipment of goods from the factor to the retailer or persons selling skin care products to the public. The skin care distributor may be the primary distributor for a certain manufacturer and have an exclusive or unshared relationship with them, which means that a retailer cannot buy directly from the companies that manufacture the skin care products.
A skin care products distributor does not have to advertise because their business is selling large quantities of skin care products. If they advertised and sold to thousands of individuals in small quantities, it produces additional overhead. A distributor is in the business of selling the manufacturers products to retailers.
