Bachelor of Fine Arts - Digital Design from American InterContinental University Online is a concentrated major in the school of Visual Communication . The program was created to prepare students for careers in commercial art and design. The curriculum is designed with an emphasis on real-world and creative thinking processes. Students are taught principles, practical applications and methodologies that are used to complete quality and creative graphic solutions for specified design issues. As students move through the program they will create a portfolio so that they are prepared to seek out career opportunities as web designers, graphic designers, Flash animators and other creative opportunities.
To be considered for admission into the School of Visual Communication to complete a Bachelors of Fine Arts – Digital Design a student must have already completed an Associate of Science, Associate of Arts or an equivalent course of study. This should include a minimum of forty eight credit hours in general education and forty two credits of electives. Students who do not have an associate degree in arts or science from an accredited institution with have their college credits evaluated by the Student Affairs departments. Other associate degrees will be evaluated on a course by course basis for transfer credit.
