Diploma in Residential Planning from The Art Institute Online covers the beginning basics of interior space planning. The program requires courses in textiles, historic and contemporary styles, space planning, kitchen and bath planning, drafting and computer aided design. These will all help students launch their careers as competitive employees in entry level positions such as residential planner, kitchen and bath planner, interior design retailer, showroom coordinator and more. All credits earned under the Residential Planning Diploma program are transferable to the Interior Design Bachelors Program.
