Those students that are interested in a career in business or business management but are not sure which area that they would like to specialize or focus in will benefit from completing an Associates of Business in general business studies. The flexibility of the program allows students to sample from the various aspects of business while still getting a wide view of the business program.
All students will be required to complete certain core courses including business success and management, supervision, human resources management and development and basic business principles. Accounting, marketing and operational management classes can be completed as electives, with financial, supply chain and specializations in computers and technology also a possibility. Many students that complete the Associate of Business in general business continue on to complete a bachelor or masters level program in an area of interest determined in their associates program.
