Individuals enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts degree program have the opportunity to develop a foundation of traditional liberal arts courses while gaining more specific knowledge in a particular area of interest. Sixty credit hours are completed in the usual liberal arts subjects (English, math, science, etc.). Students then choose an area of concentration, area of study or the liberal studies area and complete 33 credit hours in a combination of courses specific to that area. Twenty-seven hours of free electives round out this degree, which may be used to support a graduate degree, enhance career options, or simply for personal satisfaction.
