Going beyond a basic Associate of Applied Science in Accounting, the program of accounting technology stresses the use of various computer and software programs available on the market today. The courses will focus on data management and entry, use of technology in accounting and preparing financial statements and reports, as well as the basic accounting principles needed for a career in business management, bookkeeping or accounting.
This program of study will require sixty-five credit hours that contain courses on payroll, taxation, reporting as well as microcomputer and macro computer accounting programs.
