The Bachelor of business administration in accounting is designed to prepare students for additional study to obtain their certified public accountant status or CPA. The course will consist of all basic and advanced level accounting courses including international business accounting principles and practices as well as technology and software programs currently used by all types of businesses, government agencies and for and non-profit organizations.
The program will include courses in legal and ethical issues in accounting and business management, financial reporting and analysis, tax preparation, auditing, advising and working collaboratively with teams and management groups. Students can enter the workforce as managers, accountants, bookkeepers, financial advisors, entry-level banking professionals or risk or investment advisors or consultants.
