Earning a certificate in project management gives people the confidence and the skills to successfully develop projects, run groups, and offer advice and help to those in the group along the way. Project managers oversee most aspects of a project including strategies; financial planning, delegating responsibilities, and making sure all deadlines are met. Since projects can take many months to complete, it is up to the project manager to stay on task and informed at each stage of the project.
Students will benefit from lectures on motivating people, tracking projects, developing and funding projects, as well as working with different personality types.
