The objective of the Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a focus on human resources will provide students with a strong foundation in understanding all issues in the human resources management field. Students will take courses from a variety of aspects of business including marketing, operational management, finance with a focus on developing skills needed to be effective human resource managers. Students may enter the workforce in management and entry level supervisory positions in all aspects of business administration.
Courses will complete studies and coursework in communication, legal and ethical issues in business management and human resource development. In addition those student focusing on the human resource specialization will also take classes on compensation, conflict resolution, teamwork and leadership issues within companies and corporations. Students will have the opportunity to work with actual case studies to apply their knowledge into practical situations.
