A Bachelor of Science in business administration will allow students to focus on the five major components of business management and learn effective strategies and techniques used in these diverse yet overlapping business areas. Students will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the categories of marketing, finance, management, international business and information technology in business administration. Students may complete a general course of study in all five areas or may choose to specialize in one or more areas throughout the course of study. In addition communication, decision making and leadership skills will be emphasized and developed through projects, coursework and discussions.
Students completing the Bachelor of Science in business administration can find employment in entry-level management positions in any one of the five fields of study or they may also choose to move on to a master's level degree in an area of interest or specialization.
