Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration in human resource management will be eligible candidates for positions in entry and mid-level general business management as specialists within the human resource field. Students will be given opportunities to work with case studies and scenarios that are reflective of their interests to make coursework practical and applicable to work related topics and areas of interest for the student.
Classes within the BBA in human resource management will include human psychology, management of human resource departments, legal and ethical issues in human resource policy development, compensation, conflict resolution, effective communication and understanding of training and professional development programs and courses. Students will also study issues such as the history of labor relations, unions, and teambuilding and leadership within organizations, companies and businesses.
