A Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in marketing will allows students to prepare for a career in the dynamic field of marketing and marketing management. Students will use case studies and actual business scenarios to work through marketing campaigns and models used in small and large businesses in either local, national or international markets. Emphasis will be placed on using evaluative and assessment skills to effectively manage marketing departments and make appropriate short and long term marketing and sales goals and plans.
Classes in the BS in business with a focus on marketing will also include effective communication and leadership strategies, supply and operations management, working with teams, establishing financial plans and budgets and evaluating and monitoring international markets and marketing trends. Computers and the latest technology will be used throughout the program.
