The AAS in Accounting and Tax Specialist degree is designed to allow those new to accounting and taxation to obtain the skills needed to work towards either employment in the field or the Registered Accounting Practitioner certification. The course will provide foundation courses in basic accounting principles and practices, taxation, basic auditing and financial report preparation. Courses will start with very basic information and advance through to more advanced concepts.
