The Associate of Applied Science in industrial technology is designed to grant a degree to those professionals that already have a journeyman's standing and have experience and knowledge in basic industrial technology. The Associates degree will allow students to formalize their understanding and enhance their knowledge in the specific areas of study needed to become a recognized professional in the industrial engineering or technology field.
Students will be required to complete sixteen required course hours that include classes in communication, operations and technology, psychology and how it relates to operations and development of industry, math, science and computers and technology. Students will enhance their problem solving skills as well as learn to address issues in a methodical and structured fashion while still being creative problem solvers.
