The accelerated program with a Bachelor of health services administration is designed for those students that have already completed at least sixty semester hours in health services training or have completed an Associates degree in health services. The course is designed to address more advanced issues in health services administration in hospitals, health care facilities, nursing homes, clinics and physician's offices.
Students will complete courses on advanced management skills, human resource management and development, information systems and technology in heath care systems, leadership skills as well as advanced communication strategies, conflict resolution and team building. Ethical and legal issues in the health services field will be addressed throughout the program. Students will be able to use real world experiences to make the courses practical and applicable to their current work environment.
