OSHA, which stands for occupational safety and health, was established in order to protect people at the workplace from hazardous chemicals, air pollutants, and other environmental factors. OSHA inspects companies on a yearly basis to make sure that they are following the standards set by the organization in the safe removal of harmful products and materials that could cause serious harm to employees and those who may live in the area. OSHA created a set of guidelines that should be followed for the safe removal of these chemicals and requires that companies change their methods if the inspection is not a good one.
