Individuals enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice degree program develop a foundation of traditional courses while gaining specialized knowledge in the criminal justice system. Sixty credit hours are completed in the usual liberal arts subjects. The 15 required credit hours in criminal justice include social policy and criminal justice, white collar crime, terrorism, criminal behavior and victimology, and research methods. Students then choose a total of 18 credit hours of electives from a list of criminal justice courses, and 27 credit hours of free electives.
