A focus on correctional administration through the Bachelor of Science in criminal justice program is designed for those wishing to work as corrections officers, probation or parole officers, or those currently working in those positions that wish to increase their skills and knowledge in the field. The program of study may also be very applicable to those that wish to work in halfway houses, boot camps or work directly with offenders in jails, prisons or other custody type settings.
