The Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies will provide learners with the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to become a paralegal within a law firm or court setting. Courses will include document writing and filing, legal research, assisting in preparing trail books and documents, contracts and estates, civil and legal justice system overviews and ethical and legal issues in working within the justice system. Students will also develop the skills needed to use current technology in providing paralegal services.
