Certified Medical Laboratory Technicians may complete a BS in Applied Science and Technology degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. The 120-hour program includes 54 credit hours of general liberal arts education, 45 credit hours in Clinical Laboratory Science, and 18 free elective credits. Clinical Laboratory Science courses include clinical chemistry, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, hematology, immunohematology/ serology, and six semester hours of Clinical Laboratory Science electives.
