Basic details about this degree program:
This program of study, taught in collaboration with the National Institute of Justice's Electronic Crime Partnership Initiative provides students with the skills to use forensic examination of technology in information and evidence retrieval during investigations. Students will study networking and computer technology, software and hardware issues, investigative procedures, rules of evidence collection and legal issues in computer forensic examination. Students will gain hands on experience in retrieving files, data, tracing communications and preparing for testimony and evidence examinations.
