The goal of the BS in Information Technology program is to provide students with the basic skills and theoretical knowledge to work within the information technology or IT field. Students will learn about networking including hardware such as routers, switches and bridges as well as security issues, information storage and retrieval in databases, evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of current IT systems and how to integrate information technology into all aspects of business, small or large. Students will work with all aspects of IT skills from systems design to troubleshooting.
