In today's rapidly evolving information technology field a Bachelor of Science in computer and information science with a concentration in network and security will equip graduates with the skills needed to be network administrators, information systems designers and developers, web administrators or even managers of information technology departments or companies. Students will receive not only in depth theoretical and knowledge based learning but will also complete hands-on projects and assignments to gain experience in the fields of network development and design as well as security issues.
Students will complete training in databases, networking, network security, computer hardware and software, maintenance and development of networking systems, analysis and evaluation of networks and networking security as well as troubleshooting and problem solving issues with existing systems.
