The American Sentinel University was created to help students reach their professional and educational goals. The programs within this academic institution are high quality and rewarding. The American Sentinel University was founded originally in 1988 by Joe B. Wyatt, Dr. Richard W. Oliver, and Chancellor Emeritus of Vanderbilt University as the Vanderbilt University Technology Company. Oliver is the CEO of the American Sentinel University and the author of many management books, an award winning professor from Vanderbilt University, and the former Vice President for Nortel in Marketing.
The American Sentinel University has offices in Birmingham, Alabama and Denver, Colorado. There are over fifteen online degrees available to students at the American Sentinel University and none of which have residency requirements. There are approximately fourteen hundred American Sentinel alumni and twelve hundred current students enrolled in the academic institution. The University has approximately forty adjunct and full time faculty with about sixty percent of them at the doctorate level. In addition, the academic institution has approximately thirty five staff and administrators on board. Furthermore, the college enjoys approximately a ninety percent student satisfaction rating across the board for all programs offered.
At American Sentinel University innovative, high quality programs are provided to students that foster and enhance decision making, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
