Anthem College Online is a respected option for your online learning needs. Because they are part of the High-Tech Institute Anthem is able to offer both Associate’s and Bachelor level degrees. With nineteen different degree plans, which range from Criminal Justice to Pharmacy Technician Anthem is sure to offer a degree plan that will interest you and help your further your career goals.
Anthem is fully accredited and also offers financial aid to students who qualify. The governing body that grants Anthem accreditation is the Commission of Career Schools and Technology Colleges. This governing body is recognized nationally and follows the guidelines in Department of Educations Chapter 33 code.
Students taking courses at Anthem qualify for both federal and state level grants and loans. This is very important as the cost of a quality education continues to be a major factor in furthering ones education. Students are encouraged to get their financial aid paperwork in the Anthem financial aid office as early as possible. Certain grants in particular run out fast. Once the grant money is gone no more will be available till the following year. If you are a Veteran you will also be pleased to learn that if you go full-time to Anthem you will be able to use your G.I. Bill as well as Army, Navy, or Air force college fund. One thing may Veterans do not realize is that there are numerous other grants and loans also available, make sure you tell your financial aid officer you are interested. In some cases your dependants also qualify to use these grants.
Students can contact their instructors and fellow students in a number of ways. The student can use the traditional methods of phone, fax and mail or use the online interactive tools the college has setup. A few examples of these would be message boards, online lectures, and videos. One of the goals of the Anthem staff is to have every student participate ongoing in the learning process.
To help achieve this goal Anthem has created a multimedia rich environment to learn. Because different people learn in different ways, Anthem has developed videos and online learning tutorials which include narration, written text as well as full length video to help stimulate and teach the student.
One of the most attractive features of Anthem is the assistance you receive after graduation. Once you receive a degree you will be entitled to lifetime career counseling and job placement. This is especially useful for a person changing careers and who does not have contacts within the new industry they are trying to enter.
