Ashford University, located in Clinton, Iowa, is a small university with a 12:1 student/faculty ratio. This means that students will get the attention they need in order to successfully complete all coursework. With a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, students will be able to explore different career paths until they find one that is comfortable. Degree programs for undergraduate programs include Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of science, and Bachelor of applied science in disciplines such as psychology, education, mathematics, computer science, and pre-law.
Associate degree programs are also available to those who are interested in earning a two-year degree. Programs include a degree in business. For those who are interested in graduate school, the following programs of study are available: business administration and teaching and learning with technology. These degrees can be used to further one’s career or enable them to embark on an entirely new career path.
For students who already have full-time jobs or who want to return to school, but who cannot attend classes regularly, online degree programs in business and technology are available. Students will be able to take the same courses that students attending Ashford University in the classroom will take, but will be able to study when they want to and not have to worry about finding time to attend classes. Also, students who do not live near the college will be able to participate in online learning.
Ashford University offers many types of activities to students living on-campus. Sports, choir, student newspaper, fraternal organizations, and other groups are available for students to join. Since many students come from different parts of the world, international clubs have been established so that everyone can feel comfortable when they are staying on-campus.
