Everest University Online is a virtual campus set up by Everest University to assist non traditional students in receiving a college level education. While they do not offer all of the same classes that you would find on their traditional physical campus they still have a variety to offer. There are four schools to choose from, the School of Business, the School of Accounting, the School of Criminal Justice and the School of Information Technology. Everest University Online is accredited by the Council for Higher Education and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. The school is also a member of the Career College Association.

The School of Business offers two associate degrees (Associate of Science in Business Administration, Associate of Science in Medical Insurance Billing), two bachelors’ degrees (Bachelor of Applied Management and Bachelor of Science, Business Administration) and one Master’s degree (Master of Science, Business Administration). The School of Accounting offers both an associate of science and a bachelor of science in accounting. The School of Criminal Justice offers several associate and bachelor degrees. It offers an associate, bachelor and Master of Science in criminal justice. There is an associate’s degree available in criminal investigations. The paralegal program offers both an associate and bachelor degree. The latest addition to the School of Criminal Justice is the associate and bachelor program under Homeland Security. The School of Information and Technology offers an associate and bachelor degree in computer information science.

Everest University Online offers the same resources that traditional students would receive. The real difference is that the resources are all available on line. Online students receive the same quality of education and instruction as traditional students. However, they can attend on a lunch break or after their children go to bed. Communication for online students with their classmates and instructors is via email, discussion boards and live chat. They have full access to all student support services and academic services. They can access their grade reports, class assignments and other important learning tools via software created by eCollege for online institutions.

Everest University Online participates in the United States Department of Education Title IV funding. This allows students to apply for and if they qualify, receive federal grants, loans or work study money. The school also offers scholarships, assistance in apply for scholarships and military discounts and educational financial assistance.
