The Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences is a highly accredited health sciences and technologies degree college that offers two arenas of online study. The college offers only undergraduate degree programs, both of which focus on the medical professions. Both programs help students obtain the knowledge needed for jobs in health care industries and medical facilities, both private and public practices, or to continue their education with a master's degree from any other accredited university, online or otherwise.
The Florida hospital College of Health Sciences has a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences degree that is offered solely online. This degree program has been designed for already practicing and established Radiology professionals. The programs include email communication between professor and student, online discussions with the class, and multiple CD-ROM presentations that are used to show the student the more complicated processes of radiologic sciences. The students will also receive materials for their studies as well. The BS in Radiologic Science degree program includes 60 credit hours of study. 33 of these hours are in radiologic sciences, and the remaining 27 hours are in general education classes. The seven semesters are 15 weeks long; five of these semesters will require the student to take nine credit hours; the other two will require only six credit hours.
The other undergraduate degree offered from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences is a Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program. Like the BS of Radiologic Sciences degree, this program is designed to facilitate and further the education of Registered Nurses who are seeking their BS in Nursing. The BS in Nursing degree is done in eight semesters, which are often completed in three years. The courses for this degree follow the standard of the national League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
