The online programs with Herzing College are designed to give non traditional students many options in furthering their educations. There are study courses for diplomas or certificates, Associate, and Bachelor's degrees. Each course is geared for the student to work at a comfortable pace and allow for scheduling flexibility.
The diploma programs give the student the opportunity to enter the business world in a variety of ways. The Bookkeeping and Payroll Accounting diploma can be used in any business enterprise and prepares the student to take on general office duties as well as the specialized payroll accounting preparation and execution. With the Medical Billing and Insurance Coding diploma, the graduate can begin a career in a doctor's office, hospital, or long tem care facility. This particular course study is heavy on instruction for understanding the complexities of health insurance. The Medical Office Administration diploma is more concentrated on the typical office duties of a health care facility. The student will learn the required skills and develop working knowledge of all aspects of operating a medical office.
More in depth education is offered with the Associates degrees offered by Herzing College. Students have the option of an Associate degree in Health Care. This degree's course study is heavy on instruction for health care assistants and other medical professionals. It includes curriculum for office management as well as medical assisting training. Students may also choose to work towards an Associates degree in Computer Science. This program prepares students for entry level or management training positions within any of the various computer fields and businesses.
Advanced, prepared students will find the Bachelor's program an asset to their educations. With programs available in Accounting, Criminal Justice, and Technology Management, among others, the graduate will be fully prepared to enter their preferred academic field. Bachelor's degrees are also offered in Health Care Management and Legal Studies.
