Individuals who are looking for a fast track into the career world but still desire quality academic instruction and hands-on learning will be attracted to Keiser University, "Florida's Statewide Career University." For training and certification in areas like criminal justice, business and healthcare, students will find the schedule and attention they need to compete for jobs in their respective industries. The University was organized by the Keiser family in 1977 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and since then, Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's degrees have been offered to ambitious students looking to advance their careers.

Keiser University allows students to choose between attending classes at the main campus in Ft. Lauderdale and in several other locations around Florida, or receiving instruction through the school's Web-based distance learning program. Classes are organized so that students take only one course at a time, but they are still able to complete an Associate’s degree 18-24 months or a Bachelor’s degree in 41 months. Academic programs include Health Services, Legal Studies, Nursing, Information Technology, Culinary Arts, Elementary Education, Fashion Design and Marketing and Nuclear Medicine Technology, all of which are instructed by qualified faculty and teach practical, real-world skills and situations.

In addition to providing a strong, diverse academic program, Keiser University supports its students' social and extracurricular pursuits, which range from athletics, student government, Phi Theta Kappa and other student clubs and organizations.

Successfully integrating students into the career world is one of Keiser University's ultimate goals, and the school offers lots of internship opportunities, connections for recruitment, alumni events and career development and counseling services.
