For those who want to earn their degree online, Strayer University Online is one option that students will have. With synchronous (classes that meet on a weekly schedule) and asynchronous (courses that are completed at the student’s own pace), students will be able to create a schedule that works for them so they will have adequate time to complete their degree program. Since many people who take online classes are juggling family and work obligations, Strayer University Online courses are designed to fit into most schedules.
Strayer is an accredited university by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which means that students are receiving an education that has met with certain educational criteria. Degree programs include associate degrees, bachelor degrees, and graduate degrees. In order to attend online classes, students must have access to a computer and should have a basic understanding of how computers work. Tech support is available to those who cannot log in to the online university or those who are having other computer issues.
Students who are enrolled in online classes may want to take traditional classes at some point during the completion of their degree program. This is possible when students live near a campus where they can go to take classes. Since the same degree of difficulty is taught online as in the classroom, the education one receives will not be very different. Students will also be able to take courses in any order they choose. This will allow students to develop their own schedule, which will make it easier for them to complete their degree program.
Strayer University Online offers its students an online bookstore where they can purchase books and other materials that may be needed for completing assignments and when studying for exams. Students will be given a list of materials they will need when they sign up for classes.
