Villanova University, located in Villanova, Pennsylvania, is a catholic university with many undergraduate and graduate programs to offer. Academic departments include engineering, nursing, business, arts and sciences, and the school of law. Students wishing to complete a graduate degree may do so through the following programs: business, nursing, engineering, education, history, philosophy, public administration, and more.
Villanova also offers a continuing education program for students who already have careers, but who want to learn more about their field. These courses can lead to a degree or completion of a non-credit certificate program. Students will be able to take classes in the classroom, online, or via satellite. Having the convenience to complete courses in different ways will allow students keep their current job and continue to improve themselves.
Located a few miles from Philadelphia, students will be able to visit the historical city whenever they want. With many organizations to join, students will be able to participate in current interests or take up new ones. Villanova is the host of the largest Special Olympics competition organized by students. The university has also been ranked in US News and World Report as having some of the best graduate studies programs in the Northeastern potion of the United States for more than a decade.
Villanova accepts students from all over the world, and offers degree programs that few colleges offer including astrophysics. Students will be able to learn from instructors that are well educated and can offer personalized attention.
Students who want to stay on campus while attending Villanova University will be able to stay in one of eighteen residence halls or eight apartment-style residence halls that are located around the campus. With a student health center, career center, and dining halls, students will be able to improve their physical health, plan for the future, and maintain a healthy diet.
