Winston-Salem State University brings high standards of academic and pre-professional excellence to its students, who range from recent high school graduates who enroll in traditional classrooms to adults seeking advanced degrees or specific course credits online. Located in Winston-Salem, NC, the historically black school was founded in 1892, and now operates as a public, coeducational masters-level institution.
